Duncan Irvine, born in 1972, in Stirling, Scotland, to a College Lecturer and Irish mother. As a child Duncan was raised in Canada by his Godparents, Marcel and Charlotte Gyon, with his paternal sister Elspeth, and Etienne, daughter of Marcel and Charlotte .
